Personality: Mashin is often a serious person, and will never back down from a challenge if he asked for one. He says that he doesn't fear death, and will initially self-harm himself in various situations to help his comrades in need. Contrast to this, he can be seen pulling a goofy face at various moments. Mashin also sleeps a great deal, and has been known to sleep through important events. Mashin also tends to go in high places where the wind blows stronger. Mashin loves the wind and it is like he is one with the wind.
Background Info:
History:Alive and living in real world
Mashin was born in Karakura town. Since he was little he already see spirits roaming around, asking himself because of innocence and his age is too young, Why those people have chains in there chest. As Mashin grows and reach the age of 14 he began to understand what are those peoples that have chains in there chest. One day, he saw someone in a black robe and with white haori. With a number five symbol in the back of his haori in japanese. In his age 25, he was working in a high standard office, while he was working in the 10th floor of the building the glass was suddenly shattered. When he looks back he was shock seeing a creature with a white mask, and a huge monstrous body with a hole in the neck.
The monster grab Mashin and planning to eat because of his reiatsu because he can see spirits. But before the hollow was going to eat Mashin, the hollow's hand was cut and release Mashin. Mashin was scared from it, because this is his first time to see a hollow. While looking at the hollow it suddenly cut into half appearing on the back of the disappearing hollow is the guy in black robe that Mashin saw when he was 14. Then he suddenly begun to understand things now with the help of the guy who helped him, a shinigami and the ex-lutenant of 5th Division.
When he reach 29, Mashin has a stable life living in a big house and famous because he is a president of a company now. One day, because of the jealousy of some company for his success. They sent an assassin to kill Mashin. The assassin was successful and Mashin died. When Mashin became a spirit looking for his dead body and crying the ex-captain of 5th division appeared in front of him and make him feel relax and comfortable.
Then Mashin accepted the soul burial and sent to soul society.

Soul Society Arc
When he was sent to soul society he live in the 4th district of Rukongai with the others. One day in his 5th day as a spirit, the ex-captain of 5th Division visited him and tell what he can see inside the walled city, the seireitei. The captain tells Mashin that he has the potential to be a shinigami. The ex-captain invite him to join the shinigamis and train to became strong to fight evil. Mashin tell the ex-captain that he will tell his decision in about 2 days.

Knowing His Power
After the day was Mashin ask by the ex-captain to join the shinigamis, in the night when he was sleeping, he hears a voice from his head. Making Mashin confuse if it was just a dream. The voice ask him that is he the wielder of his power. Mashin decide to go on a journey to wonder what this power is. After 3 days of journeying in a dark cave. A very strong wind blows around him and a human shaped but in a weird outfit appears in front of him and asking if he is the wielder of his power.
Mashin answered yes and the strong wind start to blow again and raising Mashin's hand a sword appear in his hand. After he wield the power of the unknown spirit, Mashin gets out of the cave. The ex-captain was outside the cave waiting for him and to congratulate him. The ex-captain explain everything and the sword he was holding was his "zanpaktou" now.

Joining Shinigami(5th Squad)
Mashin decided to join the shinigami and graduated from the academy.
He decided to join the 5th Division where the ex-captain who help him a lot was there. As the days go because of his power and strength he was promoted to be the vice captain of 5th squad. Mashin was in a mission with his captain. In bad luck, the captain died because of protecting Mashin from the espada who attack them during the mission. Mashin was promoted to be the 5th Captain.
From the incident happen Mashin was make an oath that he will protect his comrades and start to train more and became stronger to defeat who will hurt his comrade. One day in his training, he was struggling and a mask was forming into his face. Mashin out of his mind, without control to his body, he was unleash an attack in sereitei making all the shinigami alert and in emergency situation. All the captain go against Mashin and planning to execute him. The hollow mask of Mashin disappeared and regain his old self. Before the captain captures him, he was able to escape and go to the human world.

Human World(Current Situation)
After escaping from soul society he goes into the shop with some shinigami stuff. The shop owner give him a gigai which he can use to other people see him. Then he saw a mansion that resides in the highest mountain of Karakura Town. Mashin starts to train there to control his inner hollow more and he was successful. He lives now with his fellow vizards and continue to fight evil.
Rp Sample:Mashin opened his left eye and had glance towards Ryuu. It seems that this vizard had many things babbling in his mind. Well, at least Ryuu answered with a decent want. He wanted to think about joining the rest of his kind. Mashin didn't add anymore in what he want to say earlier. Although, his mind is still focused why the past leader want to be peacefully organized to shinigami. Taking this to action seems to be really hard, convincing his same race would be a real pain in the ass for making them to accept the allegiance. But giving a try is not bad.

Mashin heard what Ryuu said that he wants to think about this. "Well, that is good to hear. You had lots of time to finalize your decision. But let me know if you want something... or need a hand" Mashin said as he pause about offering him a help. (from a site that was hacked that i went on)

Idk how many paragraphs this is, but you need 18 paragraphs to qualify as a captain. Break up the paragraphs to look more like the Soul Society Arc.. If it still isn't enough, please add more history.
