Personality: Lee Kazura is a very open person, when you get to know him. He tends to be very light-hearted and outgoing when you get to know him. So, people often think of him being like this all the time. But, if you don't know him very well, he is completely formal with you: more serious. He's a bit akward that way, and it tends to get him on a lot of peoples bad side.
Background Info:
History:Lee Kazura was born into the most ordinary family of them all. He had an older brother, and was soon to have a younger sister. His parents were hapilly married, and they all lived in a middle class family, on a street next to a park, and other houses. They lived in Korea. Nothing extraordinary, tragic, or unusual was about Lee's family. For some reason, that seemed to bug Lee as a child. He wanted to go on high-stakes adventures, like he would watch in the cartoons. He wanted to stick out, even if it was just a little bit. But he knew he never could. He had been named "Lee" in the most ordinary family in the world. No way that he could stick out, at all.
Lee's father was very inspirational, for he owned a dojo. Lee's extreme energy and temper would be let out there, almost everyday. His mother, of course, wanted him to find a more creative way to sooth himself, like... you know.. arts and crafts? But Lee didn't enjoy craftsy' types of things. Lee liked to unload his rage. Doing in his fathers dojo was preventing him from getting in fights at school, which is why Lee's mother permitted it. Lee's father was a very skilled samurai. Lee's grandfather was a samurai in a great war, and he taught everything he knew to Lee's dad. Lee's dad taught everything he knew to Lee. Or atleast, he tried to.
Growing up, Lee loved to visit his uncles house for just that reason. His parents did not like him walking over to his uncle Yusen's house at the age of 7, mainly because Yusen was so wierd. Lee snuck out of the house, almost all of the time, just to go over there. His uncle was always rocking out to some music, watching TV, or creating fun activities for him and lee to par-take in. Yusen was a Korean pop dancer, which Lee found very interesting.Lee felt truly at home with his uncle.
One day, when Lee was a about ten years old, Yusen came over to his house for a family reunion. All sorts of people were there. People who were Lee's "family", that he didn't even know about. His mother and father, and his newborn sister, all sit on the couch. Crouds formed among the new-born baby, and once again, Lee felt like he got no attention. He was just plain old Lee, always off to the side. Even his friends barely ever recognized him. Lee would regret hating his family at this moment, as he could feel the ground shaking.
Everyone in the large room started to panic. It felt like a large earthquake hitting them, and they were at the top of the building, so that wasn't good. Through the window, only Lee seemed to notice that giant figure outside. It was travelling in the distance, shooting large beems out of his mouth. He would, later on in life, know to call this creature, a "menos grande".
Another one appeared right next to the door, only, all you could see was it's completely black eye. Lee, was speachless, and could barely tell his family to get up and run, before.. it happened. The Menos Grande drove its hand into the side of the building, then dug it towards the couch where his mother, father, baby sister, and his favorite uncle sat. Yusen. The large creatures hand grabbed the arm rest, picking up his entire family. As quickly enough as his family realized what was going on, the monster had swallowed them whole.
The last thing that Lee saw before there deaths, were there terrified faces. Lee had only seen his mother and father in pleasent moods, throughout his entire life. Seeing them so terror-struck, hurt Lee internally, more then he would ever be hurt in the future. Lee's brother,
Sanosuke, grabbed the dazed boy by the arms and rushed him down the stares. While rushing down to safety, Lee could only see his parents faces through his tears. Then he thought about his uncle... He was gone also.
Sano brought Lee all the way down to the basement, where they could hear the extreme death and destruction going on. Lee looked at Sanosuke, with tears in his eyes. His brother, Sanosuke, was always a very strong person, who never cried. But at the time, Lee could swear that he saw a tear forming in his eye. "Sano.... what are we--"
"We will avenge them!!" Sanosuke yelled, letting all of his tears go at once. "I won't die without knowing that I fought those damned monsters, and kill them!" his brother yelled, vigilantly. Lee found inspiration in those words, and descided to follow them too. From now on, they would be Menos hunters. As humans, they could barely do anything, but they could both crearly see the monsters, unlike other people. They sat in the basement until the noise subsided....
10 years later
Lee and his older brother Sanosuke stood in a largy grassy plain, dust kicked up everywhere. Among the hundreds of screaming people, Sanosuke and his brother stood facing the menos grande, which towered over 100 feet above him. They were calm, facing above them, like they had done this many times before.They wore metal samurai armor, a gray steeled kimono that dropped to there ankles. They had sharpened blades at there sides, awaiting for the dust to clear.
"About all this Samurai stuff.." Lee began to say. "Don't you think it would be a lot more effeciant to just shoot this guy up? The weapons system has been evolved, we don't have to use these swords anymore." There was a pause for a few seconds. Sanosuke was debating to answer his younger brothers question. "It's not about effectiveness, Lee.." he paused, once again, to add meaning to his statement. "It's about honor. Our father was a traditional samurai. Using guns to avenge his death would be...well.. rude."
Lee felt like giving a smart-ass remark, but he had noticed something about the menos. It had opened it's mouth really wide. Lee had seen this many times before, the menos's main attack. Lee jumped to the right before the attack was extracted from the menos's mouth. He didn't warn his brother, for he knew that he would be able to fend for himself. Sanosuke jumped to the left, and signalled for Lee to advance. Lee ran straight at the menos from the right, doing the exact same thing as his brother.
Getting close enough to the menos grande, Lee followed through with the plan. He knelt down and put his hands in a cupped position, having his brother step on them. As he did so, Lee did his best to lift him up. They were trying to create a large scar on the bottem of the menos. But, something went wrong. The second that Sanosuke was launched up, the big smile on his face from the slight chance of victory, he was blasted into oblivion.
Three more menos had shown up, surrounding Lee. JUst like his parents, his brother was defeated in such a horrible way. While being surrounded by three deathly monsters, Lee broke down and cried, like he did when he was younger. He felt like a coward, but he couldn't control it. Everything he had was gone, and now he was surrounded by three giant monsters who were ready to kill him. They all aimed there beam at the same time, charging it up as much as they could. They all shot down at the same time, and Lee died crying, like a wimp.
Dead
Lee "woke up" in another place. He awoke in a bed, where outside looked to be a city, but it wasn't his. It was Seiretei, where the dead would go. He met his family, his brother, and everyone there meanwhile. He enjoyed a life there, and thought it to be so much better then life down on earth. He had overheard his brothers descision to go try out to be a "shinigami". Lee followed his brother there, and is now a shinigami for the 2nd division.

Rp Sample:Lee wore a bored expression on his face today. He walked at a normal pace around Sereitei. No missions today, so you could imagine how boring it was. He had his black shingami robe on, like always. His sword was at his side, begging to be pulled out. After walking around for an hour, and eating a bowl of soup, he came upon an open courtyard. There were no buildings of any sort for a good square mile. Lee had never seen this place before, and maybe it was because he was quite new to the shinigami world.
Lee sat down against the building nearest right to him, looking out upon the vast courtyard. He pulled out an egg roll that he had preserved in his pocket. That was a very bad habbit of Lee's. He always kept food and delicate things in his pockets. When he took it out, it was completely unravelled, and spread across his hand. He looked inside of his pocket, finding bits of shrimp and veggies scatterred all around. Lee threw the remains of the egg roll on the ground, and waited for something interesting to happen.
Watersoul was going back to the 6th divsion when he saw a shinigami just walking around the Sereitei. Not even working or perfecting his skills. Seeing that he had a bit of time before going to his divsion, he decided to have some fun with him. Then Watersoul saw the shinigami throw food onto the ground as if it was nothing. Just taking out food from his pocket and acting like some poor starving kid in Rukongai wouldnt want even a smell of it. Then he noticed a courtyard that the shinigami was staring at. So 1. not doing a mission, 2. throwing food on the ground, AND 3. staring aimlessly at a open courtyard. Watersoul thought this shinigami needed a bit of disipline. Also he was bored since he had finished his training for the day. Watersoul walked over to the shinigami without him even noticing and appeared sitting right next to him out of the blue. Are you going to eat any of that egg roll, or are you sharing with the ground? he questioned with a grin. He knew that wasting his time with a shinigami that didnt even have a rank was pointless, but hey, Watersoul was b.o.r.e.d.
Lee looked to the the left, instinctly placing his hand on his blade. "Are you going to eat any of that egg roll, or are you sharing with the ground?" he heard the shinigami beside him say. It seemed as if the person next to him was starting to get a tone with him, which Lee didn't quite apreciate. He stood up, then stared over at the questioning Shinagami. "It's called littering.." Lee said, using the smart-ass side of his brain. "But yeah.. me and the ground are best friends."
Lee tipped his blade out of his hilt with his thumb, letting a couple inches of his shined blade show. He had never fought another Shinigami before, without having it be training. He only fought hollows intentionally so far, but he had a feeling that was about to change.
Watersoul grinned again listening the the smart-ass comments the weak shinigami said. He seemed to think that he could win. He tipped his blade out a few inches trying to make Watersoul "scared". I would like to ask you something, do you really think you can win?, i bet you aren't even a seat, i would rather spend my time being gnawed on by a hollow then get talked back to by a weak shinigami!!!. Watersoul slighlty tipped out his own blade a single inch and spiritual energy rushed out of him. Anyone in the area would feel compelled to throw up and suddenly want to stop breathing if they felt it. The spiritual pressure was so strong, you could feel it in the air. Think of this, 1 inch of my sword is out and already im stronger then you, what makes you think you can beat me with my whole zanpacktou out.
Lee listened to his opponent speak. "Think of this, 1 inch of my sword is out and already im stronger then you, what makes you think you can beat me with my whole zanpacktou out." Lee snickered, closing his eyes and smiling, like the massive spiritual energy didn't bother him at all. His hair blowing back, he opened his eyes and began to speak. "No matter how hard you try and kill me, no matter how strong you are, you couldn't kill me. Wanna know why?" Lee said, fully pulling his zanpaktou out.
The spiritual energy flew from Lee, not quite as much as his opponents, but enough to blow some animals back. He began to run straight at his opponent, gaining speed as he went further. "Because you simply aren't intelligent enough!" Lee yelled, jumping over his opponent with intense speed. While in the air, he flipped around, facing his opponents backside. He then swung his long sharp sword down at his opponents shoulder, aiming to cut a gash down his back from his shoulder. Lee did these things so fast, that it would be especially difficult to dodge it.
Watersoul started to get bored with his opponent saying that he couldnt kill him. Everyone knows that his kid is just a bit cocky, didnt mean to get him all mad, oh well, might as well prove a point Then the shinigami pulled out his zanpacktou all the way out throwing a little bit of spiritual energy at Watersoul. Really, he still thinks he'll win, he isn't very smart Then when Lee made the comment about Watersoul not having intelligence, that was a bad deicision.Bad idea, just saying but... i was at the top of my class, no one could beat me, i must say you really dont have enough smarts to recognize someone as great as me!!!. Then as the shinigami jumped out watersoul then flipped around and went to watersouls backside and swung his sword down. To the shinigami it looked as if he just dissapeared even though all Watersoul did was use his shunpo. Then without any notice Watersoul without even using his zanpacktou and swung his foot down aiming for the shinigami's back...
Lee noticed that his opponent used a skill which he himself wasn't to good at. The flash step. A move which allowed you to travel short distances at such quick rates, that it looks to be as if they teleported. Lee disliked this move, but he knew where his opponent was. Obviously, he wasn't in front of him, and the only other attack that Lee wouldn't be able to see, was one that came from behind him. Lee pulled all of his weight to the right side, but he wasn't quick enough. The kick had slightly hit his shoulder, caushing him to fall backward a bit. This messed up the horizontal slash he was about to do, for he was now out of reach. Now, Lee just aimed his sword downward at his opponents leg, which was already right in front of him. Since his opponent was already airborne, there was no way he could dodge this slash to the leg.
Watersoul hadn't done very well on his flash step to make the fight more interesting which seemed to cost him a good kick. Although Watersoul knew he connected. Even though he connected, the kick was moved slightly to the shouldier instead of right into the back. The kick caused the shinigami to not be able to do his original attack.suprising even Watersoul a bit, the shinigami caught himself and thrusted his sword down aiming for Watersouls leg.
Watersoul probably did what the shinigami least expected, he flash stepped in thin air. That is even more complicated then just flash stepping on the ground. Since shunpo is hard to master, it was even a bit suprising to Watersoul himself. He used the shunpo to get once again behind the shinigami. He then did a drop kick aiming for the shinigamis head, Even though this should land, this should still give the shinigami a chance to counter attack with his sword- putting his hands in punch positions-i dont really have the need to be damaged in this battle!
Damn, this man was fast. Lee finally thought he had conjured up an attack which was good enough to catch his opponent off gaurd, but apperently not. He was able to utilize the flash step while airborne. Lee would have to pump up his game. Again though, he knew where his opponent was, or atleast knew he was trying to attack him. Since his opponent was attempting to "drop-kick" him, Lee would be unable to counter. Un-like the last move, Lee could dodge the attack just by leaning, but not this time. Lee would have to do something that he didn't attempt often. The flash step.
Lee stanced himself, then did what his older brother taught him. He focused all the energy wihin his legs, then made one quick movement. To his opponent, Lee had appared to dissapear right before him. He didn't feel like countering again, for he knew what would happen. This would go on forever, flash step to flash step. Lee had to do something different, and his opponents current position made sure tha he could land a hit. He didn't so much flash step, as much as he flash jumped. He used he power of the flash step, and went upwards. He then went down at his crouched opponent, who didn't know he was above him, nonetheless have much chance to dodge. Lee suck his sword out, and went in to stab his opponents shoulder blade.

Then as the shinigami jumped out watersoul then flipped around and went to watersouls backside and swung his sword down. To the shinigami it looked as if he just dissapeared even though all Watersoul did was use his shunpo. Then without any notice Watersoul without even using his zanpacktou and swung his foot down aiming for the shinigami's back...
Lee noticed that his opponent used a skill which he himself wasn't to good at. The flash step. A move which allowed you to travel short distances at such quick rates, that it looks to be as if they teleported. Lee disliked this move, but he knew where his opponent was. Obviously, he wasn't in front of him, and the only other attack that Lee wouldn't be able to see, was one that came from behind him. Lee pulled all of his weight to the right side, but he wasn't quick enough. The kick had slightly hit his shoulder, caushing him to fall backward a bit. This messed up the horizontal slash he was about to do, for he was now out of reach. Now, Lee just aimed his sword downward at his opponents leg, which was already right in front of him. Since his opponent was already airborne, there was no way he could dodge this slash to the leg.
Watersoul hadn't done very well on his flash step to make the fight more interesting which seemed to cost him a good kick. Although Watersoul knew he connected. Even though he connected, the kick was moved slightly to the shouldier instead of right into the back. The kick caused the shinigami to not be able to do his original attack.suprising even Watersoul a bit, the shinigami caught himself and thrusted his sword down aiming for Watersouls leg.
Watersoul probably did what the shinigami least expected, he flash stepped in thin air. That is even more complicated then just flash stepping on the ground. Since shunpo is hard to master, it was even a bit suprising to Watersoul himself. He used the shunpo to get once again behind the shinigami. He then did a drop kick aiming for the shinigamis head, Even though this should land, this should still give the shinigami a chance to counter attack with his sword- putting his hands in punch positions-i dont really have the need to be damaged in this battle!
Damn, this man was fast. Lee finally thought he had conjured up an attack which was good enough to catch his opponent off gaurd, but apperently not. He was able to utilize the flash step while airborne. Lee would have to pump up his game. Again though, he knew where his opponent was, or atleast knew he was trying to attack him. Since his opponent was attempting to "drop-kick" him, Lee would be unable to counter. Un-like the last move, Lee could dodge the attack just by leaning, but not this time. Lee would have to do something that he didn't attempt often. The flash step.
Lee stanced himself, then did what his older brother taught him. He focused all the energy wihin his legs, then made one quick movement. To his opponent, Lee had appared to dissapear right before him. He didn't feel like countering again, for he knew what would happen. This would go on forever, flash step to flash step. Lee had to do something different, and his opponents current position made sure tha he could land a hit. He didn't so much flash step, as much as he flash jumped. He used he power of the flash step, and went upwards. He then went down at his crouched opponent, who didn't know he was above him, nonetheless have much chance to dodge. Lee suck his sword out, and went in to stab his opponents shoulder blade.
